The Curry Brothers Are Making NBA History in This Warriors-Trail Blazers Playoff Duel

May 13, 2019

(95.7 The Game) Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors and Seth Curry of the Portland Trail Blazers this week will become the first brothers to play against each other in the conference finals when their teams tip off in Game 1 of the NBA final-four series on Tuesday night.

"It's a dream come true for both of us," Seth Curry said, per Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.com. "Obviously, it's the first time it's been done. It's going to be a lot of fun for our families to be in the building. I'm looking forward to it."

Steph, who dropped all 33 of his points in the second half of the close-out game against the Houston Rockets on Friday night, has a simple message for his brother.

Seth, whose Blazers punched their ticket to the Western Conference Finals on Sunday, knows his mom, Sonya (and his dad, Dell), will have split loyalties.

"I know my mom is a little stressed out," Seth said. "My dad, he's always calm. But my mom is stressed out, and you might be able to hear her. She's probably happy right now, enjoying the moment for both of us. She can look at the bright side: One of us is going to the Finals at the end of the day. So there's no losers."
