Joe Giudice is keeping a positive mindset after his split with Teresa Giudice.

"The Real Housewives of New Jersey" alum shared a slideshow of pictures on Instagram opening up about this family and the difficult year.

The father-of-four shared several photos of old images of him and his estranged wife to pictures of their recent family trip in Italy.

He captioned the nostalgic slideshow and said, "Don’t fall in! Whatever happens in our future, remember we were friends to begin with. We will always stay strong. It’s not distance that breaks a couple it’s actions! I’m growing and learning more from today’s generation. egocentrism was thing in baby boomer and gen x era. Now, Millennials believe in joint effort not separating roles. Not, that I didn’t love my era I see the ego thing got in my way like a trap. one bedroom is good Today, simplicity, girls and family first, and actions speak louder than a car or big things.--------☝️"

Back in December, the couple decided to officially split after twenty years of marriage. The news isn’t shocking as a source close to the family told People that Joe and Teresa “have been separated” since the family's recent trip to visit Joe in Italy.

“They discussed their future when Teresa and the girls went to Italy in early November and they agreed that each had to move on. They are doing so amicably and very slowly,” the source says of the childhood sweethearts.

During an episode of "RHONJ," Teresa participated in a heated argument with her estranged husband over the phone. In the call, she revealed that she was required by Joe to sign a prenuptial agreement before their wedding in 1999.
